GEF - Country Portfolio Evaluation

This is a meta-evaluation that looks at all of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) support to Sri Lanka since 1992, using numerous different levels of review and impacts assessment tools. The evaluation matrix uses the OECD DAC criteria of relevance, results/effectiveness and efficiency and looks to evaluate performance at the project, focal area (biodiversity, climate change, POPs, Land Degradation and International waters) and national levels. 

Objectives

• To provide an overview of the impact of GEF support to Sri Lanka to meet its own sustainable development agenda as well as to contribute towards the global environmental objectives.
