The Resource Centre’s role is to generate and effectively share information on poverty and development in Sri Lanka among a broader section of stakeholders and create space for interaction to encourage debate & discourses and generate innovative ideas to contribute to development practices to produce a better informed society.
The Resource Centre is part of the Communications and Policy Programme(CAP) and it strives to support CAP to meet its objectivewhich is to expand knowledge on poverty through effective means of knowledge dissemination and greater policy analysis, dialogue, and influence.
Sri Lankan think-tank promoting a better understanding of poverty-related development issues. CEPA believes that poverty is an injustice that should be overcome and that overcoming poverty involves changing policies and practices nationally and internationally, as well as working with people in poverty.
